She’s worked for both sides of the agency/client coin managing campaigns, naming things, and creating many decks. Before copywriting, she was an engineering student. Turns out she just liked simplifying big ideas and had a knack for science fair competitions. This shift came as no surprise to her first stakeholders, mom and dad. The second grade “Dog” PowerPoint was particularly compelling.
Em preaches copywriting is almost never life or death, but is always a chance to make someone feel less alone or put missions where mouths are, in that order. As of writing this, that looks like working at Hinge and co-running a zine called Unstained. ✏️
